Common topics
- Shabbat times are wrong or missing: The times are calculated from your location. Check that the App may use your location (Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services), or select your place manually in the App.
- Torah portion and readings: The App shows the weekly portion along with further matching readings. If the portion looks off, check your location and time zone — the week changes with the start of Shabbat.
- Feast and fast days: You will find the full overview in the App. Start and end times likewise depend on your location.
- Change language: Yachad has a multilingual interface. You can switch the language freely in the App's settings, independently of your device language.
- Table blessings: The blessings before and after meals are available in the App and also work offline.
- Networking & profile: You can connect with other Messianic believers and congregations within Germany. Your display name, picture, and further details can be edited at any time in your profile settings — and the rest of the App works without taking part in the networking features.
- Account & sign-in: Your account keeps your profile and content available across devices. If you can't sign in, check your internet connection first, then contact us with the email address you registered.
- Delete your account: You can delete your account and its data in the App's settings, or email us and we will do it for you.
- Push notifications: You can manage reminders in the App, and notification permissions in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Yachad.
- Data and privacy: Your account data is stored on our own Cloudflare backend. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Religious guidance: Yachad is a companion app and does not issue religious rulings. For binding guidance, please turn to your congregation or spiritual leadership.
