Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our learning app (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

The App allows you to create and manage learning “decks” and “cards” (question/answer) and view learning statistics. You can create an account using email/password or sign in with Apple or Google.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device access.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You must not use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.

3. User content

“User Content” includes decks, cards, questions/answers, and any other content you create in the App. You retain ownership of your User Content.

• You grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate the App for you.
• You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure you have the right to use it.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or violates these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

• No reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass security.
• No interference with the App’s operation or other users.
• No uploading malware or abusive content.

5. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services (e.g., Firebase by Google) for authentication and data storage. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time. We try to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account in the App. Deleting your account removes your access and deletes associated data as described in the Privacy Policy. If you need help, contact m.budziat@gmx.de.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law based on your and our location and mandatory consumer protection rules where you live. (If you need a country-specific clause, adjust this section accordingly.)

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
