Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our personal clothing inventory app, Closiva (the "App"). If you have questions, contact us at m.budziat@gmx.de.
1. Who is responsible?
Data controller / responsible party:
Maximilian Budziat
Georgia, Tbilisi City, Zakaria Paliashvili Street, N 41
m.budziat@gmx.de
2. What the App does
Closiva helps you catalog your wardrobe, track what you wear, log daily outfits, and gain insights into your clothing habits. You can photograph items, organize them by category, color, size, brand, and tags, and review wearing patterns over time. The App is designed as a private, personal inventory tool.
3. Our privacy approach
Closiva is a 100% offline, local-only app. All your data — including wardrobe items, photos, outfit logs, wear history, tags, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud services that receive your personal data.
- No account or login is required
- No data is uploaded to any server
- Photos are saved to your device file system only
- No social features, no marketplace, no data sharing
4. What information is stored
Wardrobe data (stored locally on your device)
- Photos of clothing items (taken via camera or selected from gallery)
- Item details (category, color, size, brand, notes, tags, favorite status)
- Outfit logs (which items you wore on which dates)
- Wear history (wear counts and dates per item)
- App preferences (theme setting, custom tags)
None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party. It exists solely on your device.
5. Subscription & purchases
Closiva offers subscription plans (weekly or yearly) with a 3-day free trial, processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription and payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, process, or store any payment details. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.
6. Third-party services
The App itself does not integrate any third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or cloud services. The only external service involved is Apple's App Store for subscription management, which operates under Apple's own privacy terms.
7. Data retention & deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete individual wardrobe items within the App, or remove all App data by uninstalling Closiva from your device.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
Because Closiva stores all data locally on your device and we do not have access to it, you can exercise most of these rights directly by managing or deleting data within the App. For any questions, email m.budziat@gmx.de.
9. Security
Your wardrobe data benefits from the security measures built into your iOS device, including device encryption and app sandboxing. Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.
10. Children
The App is not intended for children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
